Education

Charles was a very smart student. In elementary school he was so smart his teachers sent him to Jr. High. When he got to Jr. High he fell behind and never caught up. Because he skipped grades he was the smallest kid in his class. No matter how bad Charles did in school his drawings improved in so many ways. Some days he gave his drawing to his teachers, but they would give then to the other students to make the lines darker or draw more in the background. That was a hurtful comment he never got over. After a while he decided to go to art school and graduated on December 7, 1941.
